Review & Description
This 22" diameter feng gong has a complex tone consisting of a wide range of frequencies, a lack of clear fundamental pitch, and a short sustain. Also called a "wind" gong because of its crash cymbal qualities that sound like strong wind through trees, this gong has a very stereotypical Asian sound to it. Although 22" may seem like a large size in the classroom, this gong is actually soft dynamically when compared to other gong styles.
