Review & Description
The Nsakala is a traditional Congolese instrument designed to be worn by the djembe player. Adds great versatility to the playing experience. Allows the player to easily add a shaker sound without adding another musician. Easily removed rubber band allows player to remove and adjust instrument. Average of 6.5in in length, with an average of 2in diameter pebble-filled gourds attached. Proceeds go to support cultural artisans working with Africa Heartwood Project.org.
